Dog Days cover

Danny, Year 8, John O'Gaunt Community Technology College
This is only one of the books I have read. "Diary of A Wimpy Kid - Dog Days" is a really good book and is in my top five favourite reads. It is about a boy who doesn't like going outside so he stays indoors all day, playing video games. The only part of the year he always looks forward to, is when he and his family go on vacation. He has a friend and he goes to the other boy's house for the night and they watch a scary movie . The film was called "The Mud Hand". The strange thing about the book was that the boys weren't friends any more, and yet they still went on holiday. I enjoyed this book a lot.

Great - really funny. As it is in a diary format you can pick it up and get into the book straight way.

Having read the whole thing free online before the powers that be decided to publish it, I can say I disapprove of how it was split into separate books. It's still funny, but I think I've grown out of it now. Still, illustrations are a small wonder outside of books aimed for under-7s!

From what I have read of Dog Days I found that it doesn't really have a story line but does grab your attention.

The book was fantastic!! It was very funny and sad too,but in the end everyone was happy. It also gives some advice for a holiday.

lol, what a funny book. It's so silly that in some places it doesn't make any sense. What's great is you don't have to have read the rest of the series first because it still makes sense.
