Berkshire Book Award Nomination Guidelines

Following the lainch of the 2021 Berkshire Book Award, young people aged 11 to 14 years will be invited to nominate their favourite new books.

​

Books nominated must have been published for the first time in the UK from 1st October 2019 - 30th September 2020. You can nominate as many different titles as you like, but only once per title.

​

In November, 15 - 20 books that have been nominated will make it onto the long list.

​

You will then be invited to take part in an online poll to select the top 6 books.

​

The top 6 titles from the online poll will form the short list for reviewing and voting. These will be announced at the Shortlist event.
