And to all those who were nominated for our 2022 Longlists & Shortlists by young people in Berkshire.

THANKS TO ALL WHO TOOK PART THIS YEAR

During this last year, it has been wonderful to see the young people of Berkshire get involved once again in the award and to embrace the new YA strand! Many thanks to staff in schools and libraries who have facilitated pupils' involvement. We look forward to next year when we can hold live events again. Until then, happy reading!

The Berkshire Book Award enables young people to both nominate the titles and select the winner. Thousands of young people from over 90 Berkshire schools and public libraries have taken part since its launch in 2003.
