Berkshire Book Award Nomination Guidelines

Young people in Berkshire from Year 6 to upper secondary are invited to nominate their favourite new fiction books; books nominated must have been published for the first time in the UK from 1st October 2025 - 30th September 2026.​

​You may nominate more than one book!

On 18th November the longlist will be announced. You will then be invited to take part in an online poll to select the top 6 books. The top 6 titles from the online poll will form the short list for reviewing and voting. The shortlist will be announced on 3rd February 2027 - you can then vote for the winner!
