It has been wonderful to see young people engage with the 2024 awards and we were delighted to be able to hold an in-person event to announce the shortlist, back in January. Students from all over Berkshire took part in the final vote and we are excited to announce this year's winners. The Berkshire Book Award enables young people to both nominate the titles and select the winner. Thousands of young people from over 90 Berkshire schools and public libraries have taken part since its launch in 2003.
